General Konstantinos Floros, Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDS), visited the stand of MER Group at the Defence Exhibition Athens (DEFEA) on the first day of the event.
DEFEA, organized under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence, is a high-profile international defense exhibition where international companies present land, naval, aerospace, national and cyber security defense systems.
General Floros, who is one of 13 Chiefs of Armed Forces attending the exhibition, heard from MER Group experts about tactical communication solutions and much more.
Overall, more than 10,000 people are taking part in the exhibition, from 54 countries, and MER Group is one of 315 companies exhibiting.
The stand of MER Group features a live demonstration of communications interoperability solutions, security experts whose expertise is border protection, and videos showing Homeland Security solutions.
With a staff that includes several prominent Israeli security experts, MER Group specializes in providing security and communications solutions for Governments and national security agencies worldwide. This includes designing and deploying multi-layered border surveillance and protection management systems, integration of a range of subsystems and state-of-the-art technology to address homeland security challenges, and training of security personnel and ground-level support.
