The company appointed two new directors at the beginning of 2017
Holon, July, 2017: MER Group (TASE: CMER), provider of telecom, security, intelligence, and cyber solutions, has announced that as part of its plans to expand activities in South America, the company has appointed new managing directors in two countries in the region.
These appointments were made as part of of the company’s increased marketing and sales efforts in Latin America, and mark the completion of a round of appointments and staff reinforcement in the area. The process began a year ago with the appointment Segev Hostik as general manager of MER Mexico, after serving as the company’s CFO for eight years. Additionally, MER has expanded its activities over the last 18 months in Central America and the Caribbean.
During this latest round of appointments, Uri Skladnik was appointed General Manager of MER Chile. Beforehand, he served as MER Presale Manager for South America and helped promote business development of radio, in-building and communications technology.
Fernando Senise was appointed General Manager of MER Peru around the same time. Senise previously served as General Manager of MER Chile, during which he promoted the company’s communications and radio infrastructure in Chile.

These projects included optic fiber infrastructure to develop a smart city; communications infrastructure for security facilities, and cyber projects. Uri Skladnik and Fernando Senise have made enormous contributions to the expansion MER Group’s in the communications sector and they will now have the opportunity to channel their experience and familiarity with the locale to develop HLS and cyber in Chile and Peru. This will continue the company’s positive momentum in Latin America.
