As part of this project, MER Group will supply 16 advanced mobile surveillance units.

Holon, April 24 8, 2017: MER Group (TASE: CMER), provider of telecom, security, intelligence, and cyber solutions, has announced that it was awarded a project to deploy mobile surveillance units and ceasefire oversight for security and collaboration forces, in Eastern Europe. The project is valued at approximately 17.3 million NIS (4.7 million dollars).
MER Group will supply mobile surveillance units linked via satellite communication to the regional control center. The units, which will conduct intelligence-coordinated patrols according operational requirement (i.e. day and night identification of security-related activity in different geographic areas). The surveillance unit will be supplied beginning July 2017 and will be operational immediately. The vehicles have independent energy supplies that enable them to operate continuously 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
This project requires an export license from the Defense Exports Controls Agency (DECA) at the Ministry of Defense.
